SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed with regard to the superior number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level produced for intervention experiences a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa status check will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
